About Us

Hi, I’m Asia! I’m originally from Poland but have called Prague home since 2007. I’m an English teacher and mindfulness and language coach with a love for meaningful conversations, creative learning, and gentle self-discovery. I work with women who want to reconnect with English—and with themselves—through experiential workshops, coaching, and community. I have a Czech husband and two lively kids, who keep me on my toes. I love yoga, dancing, nature walks, movement, coffee with friends, and moments of quiet reflection (whenever they happen!)

Hi, my name is Jen Hill! I’m from Canada, and I’ve lived in the Czech Republic for ten years. I’m an English language guide or coach, working freelance from my home (mostly online). I’m a writer, a medicine maker, an avid reader, and a seeker of all things Divine. I live in Prague with my dog, Freya, and lots of cheerful houseplants and herbs. I enjoy meditation, shamanic journeying, cooking (and eating!), and taking long walks in the nature with my friends.

Hi, my name is Stefania Martinez and I’m a writer and an art therapist. I work with creativity, conscious femininity, and the wisdom of the body. I am passionate about aromatherapy, bodywork, and simple energy-regulating practices. They help me stay balanced as a highly sensitive person who often floats among dreams yet also seeks grounding in the earth. I enjoy weaving these elements into my sessions so that everyone can explore their inner world with softness and safety. At the retreat I will guide an art therapy session inspired by nature, symbolism, and intuitive expression. I live near Prague with my family. When I am not creating or writing I practice yoga, read, craft, and walk by the river because its steady rhythm always brings me peace.

Hi, I’m Eva! I’m a certified yoga teacher and I’m really passionate about helping people feel good in their bodies and calm their minds. For me, yoga is a wonderful way to find a little peace in our busy lives, and I love sharing that with others. At the retreat, I’ll be leading some gentle yoga sessions focused on breathing. This lesson will help you move freely, let go of stress, and just feel more connected to yourself – and you don’t even need to change from your pajamas, you can come as you are and gently stretch with us! I’m looking forward to sharing this special weekend with you!

What did the ladies say about The Creative Pause weekend?

“I enjoyed the weekend so so much:):). The venue and food were perfect! I felt very safe, well cared, I could really rest. During the activities we went out of our comfort zone, but only a bit, and I really appreciate that because that way it was such a pleasurable pause from the stressful everyday life. There was no pressure, no stress at all- all the activities were well designed and flexible, following the group energy at the same time. The discussions were deep and inspiring. You created a really safe and warm container for us. I also enjoyed the company of great women and a sense of community. Thank you very much 🙏🧡🧡🧡.”

“The only thing I could complain about was that I think weekends should have started earlier. For the first time ever, I didn’t have to be responsible for anything. I completely switched off and forgot all my worries. I allowed myself to be open, vulnerable and perfectly imperfect. Thank you!”

Martina G.
The Creative Pause October ’25

“There was a nice energy from the whole group, acceptable, gentle and lovely. The program and activities were amazing, mindful, creative. I enjoyed that we did lots of self-reflective activities and could connect with ourselves. I gained more mental energy during the whole weekend and practices which I can integrate into my daily life. After this weekend I believe that creativity can heal us.”

“I enjoyed the beautiful cottage near the woods and the company – I was amazed and grateful for how all of us were open and how quickly we went into the deep and personal matters. I loved the variety – it worked for me better than to be focused just on one thing.”

“It was perfectly fitting in my current needs! It was full of positive energy, female sharing, interesting topics, nice environment…being perfect in my imperfection is my new mantra😊”

“How deeply nourishing it is to our bodies and immune systems to be in the forest. I loved the forest and dance activities and the company of such great women. The weekend helped me see that I could step into my voice and my power”

💫 Full Workshop Descriptions

If you are curious about the particular sessions and workshops below is a more detailed description of what to expect:

19:00 | Welcoming Circle – Arrive, Connect, Land

This welcoming circle invites you to slow down, breathe, and step into the energy of the weekend. Through simple connection practices, grounding exercises, and guided sharing, we’ll create a warm, safe atmosphere for everything that follows.

This is your moment to soften, exhale, and start the retreat with intention.

08:00–09:00 | Yoga with Eva – Ground & Awaken (Saturday)

We’ll begin the day with a gentle yoga stretch led by certified yoga teacher Eva Kurovcová. This morning session will help you connect with your body, ground yourself, and ease into the flow of the day with calm and presence. No previous experience needed—just come as you are and enjoy a mindful start.

10:00–12:00 | Self-Love Workshop – Love yourself back to life with Jen (Saturday)

This reflective, heart-centered workshop explores the many shapes of self-love. Through gentle writing prompts, conversation, and guided reflection, Jen will lead you on a journey toward deeper compassion, acceptance, and inner safety.

You’ll look at the small, everyday ways you can support yourself more consciously. You’ll uncover beliefs that no longer serve you. And you’ll create space for softness, honesty, and reconnection with your own worth.

Here is how Jen describes the workshop: ‘There is a dream in your heart, which is perfectly connected to your purpose in life. I will guide you into loving yourself in such a way as to unlock this dream in your heart and bring your body and soul back into alignment so that you may achieve all of life’s dreams for you.’

14:30–16:00 | Mindful Walk & Forest Mind – Reconnect with Nature (Saturday)

After lunch, we’ll step outside and slow down with a mindful walk through the surrounding forest. Inspired by the Finnish method Forest Mind, this gentle session invites you to awaken your senses, ground yourself in the present moment, and connect more deeply with nature. Through simple mindfulness and nature-based practices, we’ll create space to breathe, reflect, and just be.

16:30–18:00 | A Date with Your Vagus Nerve – Regulate & Reconnect– with Asia (Saturday)

In this experiential workshop, you’ll discover how your vagus nerve influences your stress levels, emotional balance, and sense of safety in the world. We’ll explore simple, practical tools to support your nervous system in everyday life.

You’ll learn:
• what the vagus nerve is and why it matters
• how your body responds to stress and relaxation
• easy techniques to regulate and soothe your system
• mindful practices that bring you back into balance

A gentle blend of knowledge, breath, movement, and grounding.

after 20h | Evening Bonfire – Stories, Drumming, Connection with Asia and Jen (Saturday)

As the day settles, we gather around the fire for an evening of drumming, gentle rhythm and ritual, storytelling, and shared presence.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move into the sauna for a different kind of soothing atmosphere.

08:00–08:30 | Outdoor Morning Stretch with Asia – Wake Up & Breathe (Sunday)

We’ll greet the new day with a gentle stretch to wake up our bodies and refresh our minds. This short morning session will help you move with ease, breathe deeply, and soak in the energy of nature—weather permitting, we’ll enjoy it outdoors. A soft and simple way to welcome Sunday.

09:30–12:30 | Our Inner Garden – Art Therapy Journey with Stefania (Sunday)

In this creative and therapeutic session, you’ll explore your inner world through color, shape, and symbolic expression. Stefania will guide you into a reflective process using simple art therapy techniques that help you connect with emotions, intuition, and the deeper layers of your experience. No artistic skills are necessary. This workshop is about expression, not perfection.
You’ll leave with a personal piece of art that reflects your inner landscape and the seeds you wish to nurture moving forward.

12:30 | Closing Circle – Reflect & Carry It Forward (Sunday)

Before we part ways, we’ll gather one last time to reflect on the weekend—what we’ve experienced, discovered, and shared. The closing circle is a space to gently land, express gratitude, and carry the insights from our time together into daily life. We’ll wrap up with a nourishing vegetarian lunch to send you off with a full heart (and belly).
